Actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat passed away on Tuesday in Goa after a heart attack, a family member confirmed. Phogat contested against Kuldeep Bishnoi in the most recent Haryana assembly election from the Adampur constituency on a BJP ticket.

Kuldeep Bishnoi, who just joined the BJP from the Congress after quitting as a legislator in Adampur, struck up a conversation with Sonali Phogat, a BJP candidate who lost to him in the 2019 general election.
